Rust

Her lonely mania slid past me to them, Subdued in a blurred copper trance. We can fly straight into the sun, transcend and claim our diadem. Mechanical smiles, manicured chrome gardens grow from a plastic stem, An attempt to hide Rust at every glance, Slaying all, saving none, tearing limb from limb. Her blank tired eyes glow like a golden gem, Holding the silver key with a distant, iron stance. We can fly straight into the sun, transcend, and claim our diadem. On elapse away from cutting the lithium hems, But one glowing allow glimmers a chance. Slaying all, saving none, tearing limb from limb. Electric souls inside copper bodies erupt and let the barriers dim, Nevermore enclosed from this somber dance; We can fly straight into the sun, transcend and claim our diadem. Our veins are wires, overpowering him. Our iron hearts, steel tears, and golden minds are meant to advance, Slaying all, saving none, tearing limb from limb. We can fly straight into the sun, transcend and claim our diadem.
