Running Season

RUNNING SEASON

she’s still nestled, bundled in bulk,
as twin squirrels flip and birds sing.
she runs in Winter’s spurious-Spring,
as the heavy load of cold lingers.

Another snowstorm slated for S Indiana. It can’t last long but slows us down nonetheless. Still walking; my son’s training for a half marathon run
