What is the game you choose to play,
The rules in which you live?
Do you play by taking it all,
Or are you the player that gives?
Do you take the playful side,
And jail it in a jar of harm?
Isolate the smile inside a box,
Killing the life, the warm, the charm.
And then whine and moan when dusk arrives,
Think a good day’s when all is down.
Or do you lift the saddened hurt,
Fitting folks with a peaceful crown?
I hope you run with fixers of bad,
The folks who use happy to heal,
The folks who tell the truth, the right,
And care how other folks feel.
