Run
You lean your back against the willow tree, watching the heavens cry,
You stand there a daze in the mist of the cool, wet summer air against the willow
tree. Your theme song playing in your mind...
Roll up your pants,
take off your shoes,
and run...
Run through the rain...
Run against the wind...
Feel the happiness,
the pain,
the rain.
Roll up your pants,
take off your shoes,
and run...
Watch the world around you spin into a blur...
Watch it tilt...
Watch yourself fall off the face of the earth...
Roll up your pants,
take off your shoes,
and run...
You run until there's no turning back.
