This is an exceptional haiku, I can picture a fox, even a snake rustling the the leaves. However, had it not of been I would have downgraded it. No haiku should be titled, or signed if you follow the Japanese tradition. Sadly in these modern days signing is a must to maintain one's copyright, etcetera, but titles, no need, spoils the surprise, the name of the form suffices. Well deserved congratulations, Moon flower... Mick

Thank you for this, Mick. It's actually a pivot one in which the "first line one and then line three should both be grammatically connected to the middle line" ruffled leaves, in the early hours, bewildered hen OR bewildered hen, in the early hours, ruffled leaves. :)
