Santa's problem was Rudolph's crutch. And, also, Rudolph whined way too much. We need help pulling the sleigh tonight Another Reindeer might fix our plight. An animal rescue said, "we've got three dogs, ten birds, and an ocelot." We'll take the dogs and birds and thank you. Okay, so what should those ten birds do? Amazing, but they flew pretty good. Santa said he was betting they would. Dogs left 'neath trees for children to pet, and it was named, "The Best Christmas Yet" Although the weather was quite icy, Rudolph's broken leg healed nicely.

This poem is humorous and delightful, capturing the spirit of Christmas with a lighthearted and whimsical narrative. Rudolph's predicament and Santa's struggle convey the idea that creative and unconventional solutions can sometimes work in surprising ways. The poem's tone is simple yet engaging, and the inclusion of unexpected animal helpers—especially the birds—adds a unique and amusing twist to the story. The resolution, where the birds successfully pull the sleigh and the dogs bring joy to children, highlights themes of teamwork, resourcefulness, and spreading happiness. Love your Christmas whimsy, Ann. Don't know how I have missed your poems lately. Too much to do and too little time, I guess. Loved bathing in your playfulness and so happy that Rudolph healed. Santa was indeed resourceful! Blessings to you! Best wishes for the contest! Blessings of comfort and joy to you!

Thanks so much, Sam, and Blessings to you, too! Tis the season to get exhausted also, and I didn't have that much to do! I hope the world can find peace somehow.
