Linda, I have observed lizards from time to time and they are an interesting species. I guess miniature dinosaurs. The skinks around here are so colorful or at least the one species of which I am familiar. Thanks for the visit. Sara

Great haiku Sara, you captured a stunning picture of a running skink, not sure if they're poisonous.

Sotto, skinks are not poisonous. They have two defense mechanisms which are biting with very sharp teeth and their tails will fall off and keep moving to trick the attacker. LOL..They will fight with each other like in old dinosaurs' movies until one gives up and runs away. Thanks for the visit. Sara
