Cognizant that the Rubik’s cube is not spherical My child still plays it as a ball in his dexterity’s portrayal… He’s labeled as special with society’s approval Surmounting afflicting disability, never in denial. With his Rubik’s cube he tosses and rolls with delight His mirth prevails midst spastic blight… Oh, he shows his thumbs-up of achievement height When the toy reaches his target goal’s flight. Midst his handling, the Rubik’s cube becomes as round Therapeutic as he feels love that does abound… While inside warm caring, he twists and turns around To dream along God-blest sleep of wellness-sound.
*Psalm 4:8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety. January 20, 2021 7th place, "If the Rubik's cube was round" Poetry Writing Contest Sponsored by Kai Michael Neumann; judged on 1/ 26/2021

Heya Beata, you certainly captured the magic of your child, undaunted by the cube, and just making his own fun tossing it around, at bit like myself, congratulations! cheers David
