Roulette Whitney Chain With a Tanka

Here I am
For an attack
Will I bet
On red or black?
Do I bet
Odd or Even?
Whatever, spin me winners!

I’ll sit down
Here’s my money
Let me win
It’s not funny
I begin
Deep in the hole
Get me some lucky spinners!

Take that ball
With a good shot
Your number
Wins me a lot
Inside bets
Outside as well
You’ve got to get me ahead!

The dozens
And the line bets
Will I play
With no regrets?
Splits and streets
Double zero
Is the number black or red?

What is this?
Nothing for me!
Swept away
Nothing I see
I don’t have
Any winners?
Forget it, that’s all for me!

That’s it for today
Nothing is coming my way
I’ll call it a day.

I’ll have to see you next time
I am down to my last dime!

I was waiting to see how much you lost at the end of this one. WEll, gosh, at least you left with a dime still in your pocket! heehee. Cute one.

Funny poem, Robert. When you're down to your last dime, it's time to head home from the casinos. Love, Carolyn
