Rosie's Tea Room
After dropping off friends at the airport today,
We decided to stop for lunch on the way.
Just as Yeroskipou came into sight,
Rosie's Tea Room sounded just right.
It's behind the big church in the Square,
Always room for you to park there.
Rosie's is lovely, so clean and neat,
A very genteel way to sit and eat,
Samantha & David are happy to greet,
You as you go in, no loud music, no din.
Choose your drinks and peruse the menu,
Toasted teacake for me, bacon sandwich for you,
Could have had a Plowman's lunch or a quiche,
Cheese scone with some pickle, or chutney sauce,
How about a scone with clotted cream of course.
Or maybe baked spud, choice of filling for you,
Maybe soup of the day and a warm roll will do.
Peruse the menu as you wait for your drink,
The days specials board will help you to think.
Whatever you choose, one thing we are sure,
To Rosie's Tea Room, you'll come back for more.
