Roseville Sweetheart

In Roseville, this suburb of Sacramento,
lives a pretty girl any boy would want to know.
Strolling along in the sunshine of California,
she has qualities that fill a cornucopia.

Perhaps what the Beach Boys have said is true.
I have found a sweet California Girl in you.
Although I did not have to go to the west coast,
everything I see about you is the most.

You can make number one on any guy’s list.
Do they allow women like you to exist?
You make music that would calm a savage beast.
How would you like to come with me to the east?

Way to go, Robert. I like your rhyme scheme of aabb. I told you yesterday that I was posting a dandelion poem, but I had an exclamation mark in the title which rejected it. Now, I know better, so it is okay now.
