Best Travelgirl Poems

This Life

Just a simple girl am I
like a bird wild and free
so many places to go
and wondrous things to see-

Here in Egypt
so different from the west
it's hard to say
which thing's I
love the best-

In USA
burgers, pizza, salty fries
all the goodies my oh my
but here in Egypt
none of those things
you will see
so please bring
McDonald's here
to me-

The ways to say
I love you
so different than before
in Egypt the words
bahebek so much more-

So a country girl I was
and country girl I will
always be
for my simple
little life
is quite enough
for me-

This poem is about the differences between USA and Egypt

Premium Member Roseville Sweetheart

In Roseville, this suburb of Sacramento,
lives a pretty girl any boy would want to know.
Strolling along in the sunshine of California,
she has qualities that fill a cornucopia.

Perhaps what the Beach Boys have said is true.
I have found a sweet California Girl in you.
Although I did not have to go to the west coast,
everything I see about you is the most.

You can make number one on any guy’s list.
Do they allow women like you to exist?
You make music that would calm a savage beast.
How would you like to come with me to the east?
