Roses sing in starlight of the night
The broken dreams of rivers in the sand
My day is lived forever in her sight
I hear the music playing by the band
My day of broken pain has gone away
I live to take this moment meant to stand
The music shakes my soul and lets me sway
The dark of never living fades to blue
I rise to make the daylight stand and play
I never knew the swords of words she drew
I wake into the living of a lark
The glass upon our windows full of dew
Let’s laugh enjoy the greenery of parks
Let’s live our life like superman and Clark
