Roses in gold sheen
glinting fire at hot June noon
Sun washed garden blooms
Sparkling city paved in gold
in scents of summer so old

It was just a week ago i found out that theres such a thing as dragon roses. And they are so unique and rare. Have you ever seen one? Its now my new fave type rose. I love how seamlessly your words flow in this. And how descriptive it is. So soul warming: every word in this tanka is beyond ethereal! Sun washed gardens , ican imagine. Mine is a sun dried garden. Poor plants seems to be wilting these days . Another fave for me. Pleasure reading your work always

Oh my, from this freezing winter and tides of snowflakes, you really took me to a heartwarming season of June, adorned with your "Roses in gold sheen", "Sun washed garden blooms" And those scents of beautiful Summer! Ahh, I've missed reading your poems all these days but have been absent on soup since a long while.
