Fairly they excel with beauty

Seen from my window whence  I awake
Ajar the scent whiffs in as the dawn breaks

Cool kiss upon my face
Lace  expression of emotion with  grace

Withered soul age has brought about
 A child within lured out

A chair amongst the roses worn bare
Lingers in the garden there

A sip from my cup of tea 
Under the big willow tree

Spring breeze blew its mirth of foreplay
Banners of verdant green slightly sway

Ahh!! They are covered with thorns but aren't those roses sweet? The person who tends them reaches a point where they have to sit in a chair to do the tending as well enjoy them. Congrats on this winner. Sara

Those last two lines are so worthy of cherishing. This is beautiful, Eve... as lovely as the rose garden in the picture. How I'd love to sit with you there and take a sweet whiff of those roses. I shall bring the tea!
