The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Roses and Ice Cream

Roses and Ice Cream

He would bring her roses and ice cream
And on warm summer nights they sat huddled
Closely, watching silent stars slowly advance
Toward morning and waiting to hear the morning bird.

Years quickly faded into the great unknown
As days flew by and the things of life went on.
But love grew melding their spirits into one...

One heart
One mind
One life.

There came a day the angels came
To take her home ...
Freed from the pain
And confusion that had dogged her every moment.
Peace embraced her and she willingly accepted its gift.

Now he thinks of roses and ice cream
And watches silent stars slowly wheeling toward dawn.
The matins bird greets him as he
Starts yet another day filled with memories

And longing.
