Rosebud Wishes

Lilac dreams frozen by winter's breath I awake to see silent snowflakes fall Cherry blossom visions are a sweet intrusion But cold winter winds interrupt this illusion I am caught in winter's icy spell Its gloomy song drifts over the dell Daffodil notions are buried in snow Rosebud wishes have nowhere to go In the depths of winter What impressions will slumber bring As cold winds howl outside I dream of the blooms of spring!
