Rose Pink Lips of Sparkling Dew

Rose Pink lips of sparkling dew. Green eyes filled with love gazing at you Ruby red, the blood surges through my heart Blue, I am when we are apart. Yellow that shimmers and shines as pure gold White sheets where the lovers dance, or so I am told Black is the chariot that brings me to you While you gallop along with your armour of blue Deep brown oh sweet nectar that energy revives Drinking our fill together we strive To dance the dance of true love with you With rose pinks lips of sparkling dew. © GG 11/08/2013 Contest Entry Inspired by the last line in the Tanka, The face of Dawn by Harry J Horsman .

This is such a sweet write, Mandy. I enjoyed how you infused colors here, makes it more vivid. I will check out harry's poem that inspired this next time. Will sleep now, thanks again for your concern. I'm in a safe place.
