Rose Ghost
If I might,
Just sit quietly with your soul tonight.
Your spirit intertwined with mine,
If I could I'd hold you so tight.
His voice echoes in my mind,
His touch, so divine.
I imagine a kiss, as I tremble with excitement.
The blood rushes through my veins,
I'm becoming enlightened.
-
A sight for sore eyes,
A beauty to behold.
I press my luck and imagine tracing her cheek,
Just with my fingertips, so soft.
Then, a kiss from a rose ghost.
Her hips move like waves,
washing over me, if only
if only they weren't in my head
The space in my bed, what a waste.
If only I could see her face.
If only she could feel this kiss returned on her lips
Then she can't tell me when it's over
-
He stares at me with eyes like the ocean
I can't think of anything else in this moment
I imagine him placing his hands on my hips,
And then, suddenly I feel his kiss.
That smell I know it, it's the smell of roses.
A kiss from a rose ghost.
Too bad I could never get closer.
Just don't wake me when its over.
