Hi LJ - thank you for your compliment and your encouragement! Have been experimenting with haiku, sedryu and sedoka. Enjoying the challenge of putting full thoughts and images into limited words with a punchline ending! So fun. Hope you are doing well! Many blessings to you! Don't you love how bossy that old rooster can be? I love your inclusion of the windmill in this little gem. Congrats on your placement, Sam.

I do love that bossy rooster - his morning song - sometimes! The picture really didn't seem complete without the windmill and its soothing rhythm! Thank you dear friend! I have grown to enjoy writing haiki, senryu and sedoka - great exercises for the verbose and loquacious like me.

Thank you my friend. The "gif" was such an inspiration. Have seen mornings like this in the country - beyond words but we, as poets, still try. Isn't it wonderful?!
