Roscoe's Dilemma

By Elton Camp He’s reached the age of seventy-five Against the odds, he’s still alive Roscoe will do as much as he can But is becoming a worthless man None seek his advice anymore Not like it was some years before Endurance was first to slip away No longer can he work all day Roscoe now finds it very hard To complete mowing the yard He once washed the car by hand The automatic is all he can stand Sounds and voices became low What’s said he cannot know Roscoe finds daily life a fright Rarely can he sleep all night He’ll get up to do some task “Where was I going?” he’ll ask
