Roots
Everyone saw the tree
It was huge
Dry and ugly
It blocked the beautiful view ahead
Right there in the middle of the other beautiful trees
It kept growing bigger and bigger
Time passed by
The other trees got smaller
But the dry tree grew bigger
It was killing everything around it
It looked so dead
Yet it grew so big
No one knew why
But the evil glared in their faces
No one saw its roots
Buried deep within the soil
Large roots that sucked up life
Evil roots spreading underneath the soil
Poisoning everything around it
Everyone saw the tree
But no one saw its roots
No one saw the roots of bitterness
