Very nice, Sara, and I would say "Rooster beware - some people like chickens better than turkey." Laughing, of course. Your haiku is haunting, like a warning of the coming winter.

Yes, the rooster's poor callings during this time of the year saddens me and the November rains quite chill me to the bone! This juxtaposition you have engraved within this poem is very good, and fits perfectly to the somber mood of the piece! What a fantastic Haiku my friend! Great Work!!
