Rooster Cheers

With my God-bestowed crowing capacity at the break of dawn I’m the rooster with my "cock-a-doodle-doo" wake up call… Cheering each one to start the day right Motivated to toil along joyous faith's zeal Accomplishing tasks with love today! Midst Scriptures’ account of my significance in Apostle Peter’s denial* I, the revival-rooster, can still remain as a warning signal To admonish you against being unfaithful steward of time… Better yet, keep achieving with Christ’s might Acknowledging His strength for doing best and utmost! This morning, I, the cheerful rooster urge you to persist, diligent servant Of quality grace-propelled work, prospered by the Lord Who exemplifies excellence as a triumphant Finisher… It’s my prayer that before you hear my crow everyday, you’ve had sweet slumber, ready to face another challenge.
*Matthew 26:34 Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. June 26, 2019 2nd place, "Pick A Title, Vol 6 - Personification" Poetry Contest Sponsored by Edward Ibeh; judged on 7/20/2019.
