Room To Grow
I've been in a stasis,
Thinking I was broken,
I need to face this,
Break down my sin.
I have been proud,
Thought I was great,
So I shouted loud,
But that was not my fate.
Soon the fire died down,
And the words dried up,
I couldn't face my own frown,
Went from top dog to a pup.
This absence of mind,
Has given me time,
To heal and find,
Inspiration from nothing; like a mime.
Now everything has some light,
Every wrong doing,
I can make right,
I only need positive thinking.
Never again will I be,
Too blinded by my poetry,
To see,
The room to grow; in me.
