Rondelet: Rat-A-Tat-'Tat

For the Sandy Hook Newtown
children and their mentors

Rondelet: Rat-a-tat-'tat

Rat-a-tat-'tat
Rattle staccato riddle tumble
Rat-a-tat-'tat
Toppled children scatter rat-tat
Innocent voices all tremble
Rifled trillions sure-fire treble
Rat-a-tat-'tat

Hi Andrea! Season's Greetings from Paris! I, too, forgot to pen the dedication to the Newtown victims. Thanks very much for the cheerful comment. I accept them in the name of the sacrificed innocent lives (and of course, their protectors as well). Every good wish. Be seeing you all - through your poems - later. Wignesan

forgot to say, it reminds me much of that popular song from last year, where the refrain says: better run , better run. sad, but a powerful. to get across the message.
