Rome

Rome
Was my home
Until Rome evicted me
But all my roads still lead to him
Trains of thought
All follow tracks
That always seem to take me back
To my one time baby- boy
Who for a moment brought me joy
Buildings and walls they could destroy
And I’d still find my way back
I’d still find my way back
Find my way back
All the way back
Way back
To Rome.
