Romance In Morning's Field
*Line One is from Vijay Pandit's Poem: The last goodbye
"Breezing trees heard the whisper of leaves."
My love and I heard them too
that day as we lay in a field of blooms -
blooms kissed by the morning’s dew.
I knew those daisies swaying could hear
wind’s whispers. How they did dance,
pleasing the eye of my love and I
at that lovely time of romance!
Joining in with the whispering wind,
the birds in the breezing trees
were sweetly singing a serenade.
Such a beautiful reprise!
Blue butterflies fluttered nearby.
Our morning ended with this:
my love with his eyes blue like the sky
gave me a butterfly kiss!
