Notes About The Poem

Written August 9 2026 for contest Silent Letters and Oxymoron sponsored by Natasha L Scragg

Rolling Stop

The day was humid and hot
Behind the bush hides a cop
I ignored the red light
Until cop was in sight
Then I did a rolling stop
