Notes About The Poem

(Warning: Bawdy Humor)

Roll in the Hay

decided to have a roll in the hay.
She pondered, in the moonlight,
"Aren't the stars pretty tonight?",
and he chuckled "I'm in no place to say!"

Okay, this one generated a hearty LOL the other night, and now as well. I love to LOL, do so as often and frequently as any given day allows. Very clever mind you have. Poetry hugs ... CayCay (5)??

Haha! Classic cheeky timing — that last line lands perfectly. Love the blend of romance, moonlight, and mischief. Well done, Jim!
