(slight change the title by removing a to The and the separating of sawtooth into a more fitting playon words so to speak - Jan, 2025.)
The reality be told, it was not long past
Flabbergast by an unfold from my minds vague vast
In the reflections of the accounts of my youth
As several echo’s formed claiming to be truth
Must be fabricated. They’re so over the top
Had to consult with a friend who’s a retired cop
Informs me there’s no evidence on the inquires
Crazies, PTSD’s, all these false memories
So herein is one of those exaggerated stories
On the banks of the Silver Woods of wolves, bears, and bobcats
Left the leaders habitat being adventurous brat
Gave battle to a sawtooth swinging on a rope and tree
Landing and watching it dash on the shore with certainty
Having no desire to be on its next gourmet menu
With a throwing ace, abase its face, injuring tissue.
Shortly thereafter, it was caught and brought to the LA Zoo
To continue, sometime a little later
Once again had a meeting with this gator
Montages and skipping over the review
But what ensued was another rendezvous
Was a swung out 40 pound dull one-way mirror door
The room entered had pale brownish walls and floor
To the right was a four or so foot wall fencing
Near this and above was American flag on the wall dangling
To the very far right laid the pool of aqua
And placed straight forward was a camera
On far-right wall but left corner led to the enclosure of
the outdoor
Wherefore the zookeeper received a call from the radio, an uproar
Therefore, he fled, taking care of that issue, so skipping on ahead
"I am so dead." I said, but utilized my shirt to cover its head
Apparently, this alligator given name was Alma
To oversimplify the event, Deus ex machina
Finally, returned the zookeeper looking very concern
To have learn, a very tired student sat on the gators back
Liberating me as the creature began its next attack
Snapping on the man’s leg dragging him away for a snack
So, I stabbed the alligator in its eye
And cursing in anger for the thing to die
Hope you go and choke on a future chicken dinner
And for closure, that’s when I broke for my departure
