Rods and Cones
cells in your eyes are rods and cones
rods see shapes, stars, dogs, old cell phones
cones see colors, sharp and blurry ones too
they figure out yellow and azure blue
rods and cones are both important to you
what could eyes without rods and cones do?
cones and rods, rods and cones,
add to my pleasure of creating poems
