~*~*~*~ A ROCKETTE Of course, I always wanted to be. With tanned long legs, so heavenly. To be on stage, with wild headdresses, And to have a lover waiting for me with flowers and warm caresses. Costumes are grand, lovely things, And music makes my soul ring. At night, now, with the stars all aglow. In my beautiful dreams, I am a Rockette, the hit of the show! 1/21/2021 Rockettte Dancers Perform in NYC Radio City Music Hall ~3~

I have not heard of the Rockettes but I did watch some videos online after reading your poem. They are amazing and love their beautiful costumes. What dedication and precison movements they do. Wonderful picture to your poem too Pangie, Emilia xx

Emila~ only a true poet friend would look on line as you did! Thank you. They really are fabulous I was thinking, sadly, how this hors hockey about social distancing will prevent them from doing this. Nice plot to destroy nations and out lives. The numbers are so vastly exaggerated, it's sick. Satan surely walks this planet. Finding joy will be hard. Pangie..

Dear Victor, this dream cannot come true! But I have indeed lived long enough to bring my dreams into living color, reality. So grateful,,I chased each star. I still have a few dreams to go...thank you! Pangie xx

Back in the 60s we used to have a troupe of dancers called the tiller girls, similar to the Rockettes, I used to be glued to the screen lol. They were amazing to see all dancing as one. Tom

Thsnk you for sharing that Tom...the Rockettes dance with such precision... I remembered, sadly. That's their livelihood. They cannot perform in New York under jailer, Cuomo. Awful. Pangie.
