Robin In November

Walking by the lake
this morning my eyes
spotted an old friend
a robin perched in a tree,
making music, as only he can do.

Never seen a robin in
November, guess he liked
it here so much, he just thought
he would stick around
   for a while.

I just had to read this one. All of my life I have associated with this bird (for obvious reasons). It is a lovely write and it is rare to see them in November. Had to laugh because I joined PoetrySoup in November. Thank you for your thoughtful comments and for sharing. Love, Robin
