Roar
I was taught
The greatest asset to have and own
Was to always strive to attain what one began.
From beginning to end
Never to give-up, give-in or falter
No matter how many hurdles, hazards or obstacles.
Believe in the lesson of success - the remaking of progress
With a mantra of fearless constitution-
The weight of the world was never my dearth.
I explored my path with the restraint of duty
Finding the enduring footing
To breed the obligation of justified power.
I cherished hope to engender faultless faith-
To echo the endowment of stamina and fortitude.
And as the arcane of my attempt became my creation,
The dreams would come and visit my soul
To speak with visions and mirrors in poems
The dissociation from the abode of my spirit
Surrendering to the sensual mindfulness
To realize the greater part of myself....
