aha-- "kalye" that's how we call our roads-- derived from the Spanish word yet again although "daan" is another more Filipino word for it-- enjoyed the images you put here, lots of trees on the side of the road, must be really pretty :) thanks for your email btw --will reply to it later :) & yup, Martes is Tuesday for us too! :) --nikko :)

Your words are always dynamic to read Gert.. when do my Italian lessons begin? am leaving for Calabria, Italy on August 14th until the 31st with my LUV for his food show business and to see friends who live there in the olive oil business.. I got as far as Arrividerci.. how about.. its so nice to see u .. and u are looking well.. and what a lovely home u have.. and the scenery is beautiful.. to start.. with luv..

pretty descriptions!! enjoyed...I just made a wonderful meal...Peach, tender green beans out of my garden, baby squash, lemon, carrot and lobster sauteed with spices...oh yummy!!

Hi Gert, this is a beautiful tanka. I can really visualise those blossom petals scattered over the road. (just an extra 'r' sneaked in to 'nature'). How is Paul the octopus doing? He was right again? I'm going to visit him with some molluscs and the lottery numbers ~ Sharon :) PS the guy with the parachute IS the take-away ;)
