Gershon, sorry but I had to laugh, I live in Oregon and they now have a law that if you hit an animal on the road you can take it home and eat it, skunks are my favorite. lol Great write my friend!!!

Mine slink around my porch or front step, as they know better than to dance around anywhere near me. I suppose I'm old-fashioned, but I don't see skunks' and raccoons' 'place' as a crowded neighborhood on the North Side of Chicago! ~ gw

Yikes, can just picture the scene and every truck that passes flattens them a little bit more and then the birds come to feast or foxes in the night.
