Garlands I hold on blue river’s last sunset- path today It’s babbling never the same each time my heart cruises it; That I might grow old and forget an alcove by the shore As smokey ripples lead me through a psalm of waved memoirs-- To offer wreaths for my child… lost, drowned in riverbed’s womb.
