thanks PD, the Senryu seems less terrifying than the haiku.

This is pretty cool. I love play on words. I think I wrote one a couple weeks ago about taking a WOK to the park, something I dreamt up about robbing a Japanese Hibachi restaurant or something ridiculous. I like yours much better, but then again, I don't read anything I write, so really wouldn't know. Take care, WOK ON!

Thank you JS, I love the subtle nuance, the double entendre, the tongue in cheek, the two faced phrases, of our language and speech. thanks for reading and commenting.

Hey, Jan, one of my favorite third grade jokes asks the question "How do you catch a "unique" bird??? "U nique" up on it.
Date: 8/27/2014 3:44:00 PM
Ah ha, CAT Fish. I had to do a double take on that one! I love your play on words here. Sure hope the judge appreciates that. NOt all of them seem to.

Alas, Andrea, I have been coloring outside the lines for too long. My love of the eccentricities of the language leads me out on the limb quite often but I kinda like it out there.

A little gentle seasoning, some butter, a crispness to the bite and a joy to the palate.

Anne Lise, i have always enjoyed the multiplicity of meanings and overlap of spelling and pronunciation in the English language so I try to have fun with it whenever the opportunity presents itself.
