River Washing

River Washing

Dancing by the river
River song
River dance
Flowing by the river
Hula song
Hula dance

Washing by the river
Clothes of second hand
Cleaning by the river
What’s afforded of my hands

Soapy water and bleach -washing solution
Bucket full of dirty
Linen, dress, pant, window curtain, undergarment
Wash but few pieces
Bloody red
River hands

Promise me no rain
Or dark clouds
Laundry need drying
Or else will stink
Promise me that
Spirit friend

Blocking out the sunshine
River soul
River dance
Soaking up the sunshine
Wash ‘m up
River hands

Mama’s sweet bread
Dipped in warm milk
Dried fruit , pretzel , lemonade
In her picnic basket

Wearing button up blouse
Flip flops
And trousers - pant

Heavy are wet clothes
Soaking up river gold
River gems
Squeeze out the excess
Lessen the load
River man

Come holiday crowds crowd the river bank
Washed clothes spread over rock
And low scattered trees
Dry’m up river man

Soapy river clouds float at the surface
Making bubbles and flakes
Flowing down into the sea
May you wash the river
Of all contaminants
Riverland

Sun dried
Fold
Smooth out creases
Sort out and put into piles
River clothes
River glam
