Ah, the cycle of nature and the process of maintaining the ecosystem! So brilliantly you've captured the set-up, the imagery, the atmosphere and the intensity in this haiku,dear Lin! Nothing less than brilliant! It's so catchy.. and your words choices are amazing, portraying the survival of the wild so effortlessly! Dear Lin, Your haiku carries the clean, wild rhythm of the river itself, bear, salmon, current, instinct. The feast, the return to natal waters, the run that has happened for centuries before us and will continue long after. Three lines, and yet the whole ecosystem moves through them.
