River
Hear the rough rippling river roar
As above agile eagles soar.
To briefly be a water wheel
And convert energy I feel,
I would compose some stirring songs,
And make a mighty sing-a-long,
So wild water music would flow
That many more may come to know
The ribbon linking sky and sea
Whose pure passion flows free through me.
