Rising Sun

Rising sun

Reminiscing lost days of togetherness,
Iridescent emotions add colour to my life.
Succour anticipates a revisit ,
Insufferable is seeking an end.
Notional fire that once burnt inside the chest,
Graces my soul that thrives for the best.

Sun is sure to shine bright and high in sky.
Unfeigned unending passion undulates,
Nevermore echoes in lonely heart reverberate.

This has to be one of the best acrostics I've ever read, Dr. Upma. It speaks of hope as well as the loneliness that comes when we are unable to muster the urge to strive for the best. Well done! Love, Carolyn
