Rising From Mistakes' Fall
Losing hope because of mistakes’ great strain
My soul did wallow in misery’s pain…
Beseeching for tender, soothing mercies
I turned to God Whose grace-grant is great gain.
Frustrated due to mistake-caused crises
My heart languished in sorrowful losses…
The Saviour reached out to me with His love
Showing me His pardon-might that blesses.
Depressed by mistake-aftermath’s downfall
My spirit would succumb to hatred-call…
The Lord be thanked for revival gladness
Exhorting me to walk along faith’s hall.
Learning from mistakes and subduing stress
Admitting weakness and despair-distress…
My mind, overcoming flaws, errors’ woes
Found succor in Christ, the shielding fortress.
From mistakes’ crash, I rise, stand* triumphant
Clinging to God, with His peace, jubilant…
He enables my conquering valor
So I can persist, His grateful servant.
*Romans 14:4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
