Rising Again

Set me free,

From the Pain,

Of seeking financial gain,

It's inane,

Inhumane,

It's leaving a stain,

On my mental plain.

All this strain,

My body is in pain,

I'm going insane,

Playing this game.

My natural ability,

Torn from me,

As I grew to be,

To who I was to be,

In a broken society,

Fears and scarcity,

Enveloped me,

Halting my maturity,

Now I clearly see,

The hold it had on me,

I'm breaking my chains,

Rising again,

And this time I win.
