Rise To Heaven
If I were to be struck by lightning tomorrow & have to leave this earth…
I would rise to heaven smiling, for I got to meet you first.
The chance to get to know you, is a reminder of that dream…
The one I had when I was younger; the knight in shining armour I thought I would be.
Just as angels fly so high,
To the sun and moon so near…
I would rise to heaven smiling but I would also shed a tear.
