"rise and Shine"
The morning sun rises like a beam of light
stealing our shadows....
Windswept emotions cover our bodies that
reflect from our windows....
We climb into each other like loose change
in my pocket....
Our mind and souls are one as our lips find
there way under this daybreak scene....
To freeze this moment would be like stopping
the world from its lean....
We enjoy the coffee and a Danish's as the crumbs
find there way down our cheeks...
Our dreams are fed as the shower cools us as we
plan for other peaks....
Now we start our day with a grin because we know
rain or shine how it began....
