Riptide

Our love is like a riptide
wild ride, I am drowning in you.

Riptide, pool slide, can't fight it, suck you right back in

Can't swim to the side.

Sex ride, heat light, glow bright
driving us insane

I want you inside, slip and slide,
gush rush, screaming your name.

As we keep riding on the riptide
wild ride, I am drowning in you.

lovely insane

End goal, heart full, head calm,
warm in embrace, entwined in your grace, committed to stay.

Susan Manley October 9, 2023 at 7:25 AM Yes, that is me singing. I have not had any vocal training past the junior high age though I was in a chorus of a musical in highschool. I do have perfect pitch. I can read music as long ago I played trumpet, drums and guitar. I am a contralto and my normal singing voice is much like that of Karen Carpenter or Dido.
