Ripples On the Pond

Bottle smooth pond Azure blue with the sky About to awake As i pass by A small stone i lift As i raise my arm Bottle smooth pond Soon to loose its charm With the grace of a bowler Overarm I release my stone In the pond like tarn Surface shaken as my stone hits Displacement of water Physical shift Energy follows with an outward tide Gravity to liquid collide I stood there for ages Watch the energies respond From the hurl of a stone To the Ripples on the Pond

Thx kindly for you comments Deborah, the ultimate was the Ripples on the Pond, and the Physics that made the ripples happen, from the lift of the stone, to the throwing to the impact on the water. The life of a pond could be either, how long it lasts before drying out, or what life is in the pond. Nice idea -but its not my thoughts on this occasion, James...

Wish I could hang out by a pond and do just that, and watch, and dream, do it again, and watch and dream. So lovely. Love, Shar

So many thoughts can race through our heads at times like the one you describe here. While casting stones into the pond, you experience quite a bit of introspection. Hope you are finding peace in the "ripples on the pond," James. Miss you! Love, Carolyn
