Ripples In the Waves

Ripples in the water float one by one far along the banks,
One by one each rippled motion retrieves the echo of silence and emotions that bob slowly
out to sea ;
The frothy tide returns the echo of the sound that slowly ripples back unto the bank it waved
upon,
only for you to hear the calmness of the ripples flow.

Great flow to this poem, Patricia. I can feel the tide rocking back and forth as ripples are released. Nice work! Love, Carolyn

Patricia, Love your name smile! Welcome to Poetry Soup! I know you will love it here as much as I do. Have made many quality friendships here through the years and have learned so much from other poets. This poem of yours is very beautiful! I see talent here. It reminds me of my own writing. I am from Alaska. I look forward to reading more of your lovely writing in the future. Keep writing and I'll keep reading. Love Light Patty
